Ummmm yeah, just a quick word to the wise. Don't ever go see a Tyler Perry film at a theatre where predominately minorities frequent. Last night I went to the 12:05 screening of 'Why Did I Get Married'. I was a little hesitant at first (fearing that it may be a tad "hood"), but I went online and purchased the tickets anyway. I should have listened to my gut. From the previews on, all I heard was the inarticulate and mumbled voices of the other "patrons" in the theatre. At one point in the movie, I witnessed people actually standing up and applauding as if they were attending a live concert. I could have sworn I was in Harlem at the Apollo Theatre. Between the hackneyed rhetoric, and ringing mobile phones, I was done. I can't even really tell you how that movie was besides Tyler Perry is a queen (and we all knew that before).
So "Fuck You Friday" is dedicated to all of you ghetto bitches in the theatre at Gallery Place last night. I hope that ALL of your offspring are slow readers, and get held back in school. You ruined my movie you urban whores. I'm done now...

A couple of designers have played around with heels adorned with lights, but this one takes the cake. They're perfect for hookers, and joggers who jog at night. (wink)
